Digital Sound Factory has acquired the exclusive rights to the original Proteus hardware sound ROM’s and has re mastered this legendary content for software synthesizers. Starting with the original waveforms, DSF has programmed over 3,500 instruments used in the Proteus hardware to be compatible with modern software synthesizer formats. Each format offered is custom programmed to that format to take advantage of the synthesizer parameters available. Formats include Cakewalk Dimension, SoundFont, Presonus Studio One, Pro Tools Structure, and Emulator/Proteus X/VX.

Open the Bank (Right Click 'Proteus VX' frame or File Open) and load C: Program Files (x86) Creative Professional E-MU Sound Central Proteus X Composer v2.0.1.exb/Proteus X Composer v2.0.1.exb) 3. Set sound Input/Output settings manually from Options Preferences. All banks were saved from the Proteus/1 user area (patches 64 thru 127) using the SEND MIDI DATA - User Presets item in the Proteus/1 master menu. The data was received by Cakewalk and then saved to the indicated Sysex file names. The Proteus/1 ID must be set to unit 00 to load the patch banks back into your Proteus/1. Use your sequencer.
